Reflective strip removal

So I read on here awhile back to use a heat gun to get the strips and decals off the bus. Tried it today with zero success. How hot do you have to make that sucker for it to work without making the paint bubble?

Is there a better method?

I got one of those sticker-remover things, looks like a rubber wheel you stick in a drill. Works like a charm.

Sometimes a heat gun gets em off, sometimes you need a "whizzy wheel".

I wouldn't do it. They're there for safety when your lights are out.

They're pretty cheap to replace once a proper paint job's been applied. In all sorts of colors, too.
