Replacing rear lights

I'm converting a 2004 Ford e450 collins bus. It was bought from an auction -- the rear lights (break light, turn signal, etc) were removed. The wiring is still running to them, though I was told the fuses were removed. My plan is to keep the bus stationary where I live, but I want it in decent running shape in case I ever move to a different property or sell the bus. It's not a huge deal if there's no lights, but if it's easy to fix, now's the time before I insulate and cover up that area.



Ideally I'd do the cheapest, simplest fix that works okay. I don't know anything about this sort of thing. Can I buy cheap generic light sockets and jerry-rig them to stay in place? Do I need to match any sort of electrical voltage / amperage amounts with the bus? How would I find out those sorts of things?

If the wiring harness is intact, then there should be no problem in replacing the fuses and light fixtures.
I'd recommend looking for a similar bus that's being parted out for the housings, sockets (maybe even bulbs!), and lenses. They can also be had new from a dealer or online, at a substantial cost increase.
It will be much easier to do this pre-insulating, tho I'd caution you not to insulate right up to the light housings, due to a potential fire hazard.
Sockets & lenses alone would barely work, they need a reflector behind the bulb.
Everything should be 12V DC, so no worries there. As to what the correct fuses and bulbs are, I'd suggest you flex your Goo-Fu for the info, &/or call the manufacturer or a dealer.
