Ok folks
Where are you getting rivets and what kinda pricing?

I have been looking and will probably go with a vendor I use typically.
I have sent for a few samples so I can match the ones being replaced

So whatcha got?

I used 3/16" steel rivets with wide flanges. I sourced them at Menards. You might need to order them online, as the store only stocked 3 boxes of 25 at a time. I think they were around $2.50 a box.

I am going with
steel in steel 3/16 dia with a .357/.933 domed head which is "closed" for weather etc.

They are .02798 each for qty of a 1000 so about 30 bucks shipped should be enuf to start with I may have to go with 1700 to meet $50 min...hopefully he'll let me just get 1000

He is sending me a few to use as samples so I can compare with what I have now.

Lisa asked if I was going to use my "contacts" to build the bus...I said well yes she laughed
