RV conversion platform? 1980 GMC mobile office.

So I ran across this GMC bus with a Detroit Diesel and would love to hear the group's thoughts. It's a mobile office for a police force, with a lot of what you want for an RV conversion: working diesel Onan genny, rooftop ACs, covered up windows, awning, toilet/sink, and some usable interior constructions (desks, dinette, couches). I keep thinking something like this (or a bookmobile) would be a great conversion platform. Seems like I've heard some negative on this platform, though, so curious to hear from more experienced hands. Keep on trucking!

Yeah I saw that one too.
I'd never be able to get it down the long dirt and gravel driveway. Not enough ground clearance.
The generator is probably worth what it's currently up to though.

Since it is built into a transit body, it may have a high numeric axle ratio for city driving, and work hard at interstate speeds. But on the other hand, since the bus is all custom, they may have specified a more appropriate axle ratio when it was ordered.

If I were going to bid, I would first email the contact and ask what the cruising speed is.
