RV Supershow in Tampa (January17-21)
Is anyone planning on going to the RV super show in Tampa? We are probably going to get ideas for floor layout and RV items.

That sounds like a good idea. So I checked to see if there would be an RV show near me. Turns out there are 3 shows this month in the Atl.area.
Greater Atlanta RV Show
January 5-7, 2018
Georgia International Convention Center - College Park, GA
Georgia RV & Camper Show
January 19-21, 2018
Cobb Galleria Centere - Atlanta, GA
Atlanta Camping & RV Show
January 26-28, 2018
Atlanta Exposition Center South - Atlanta, GA
Tampa has a big used bus sales lot there also. They advertise a lot here in Atl. on Craigs List

We went last year when we thought we were buying an RV. I remember alot of booths with stuff that would be of an interest in anyone building a schoolie.

I went to the RV show in tampa last year and it was fun to look at the million dollar motorhomes..
no skoolies were there though in the parking lot..
one of the forum members here seems to have gotten a great bus at Tampa Bus Market..

BGA has been listnign a lot of cars lately.. they always used to have a few but now they have a ton more... people mustve gotten wise to their high bus prices..
anything at BGA with A/C you can almost bet they just double whatever price it originally wouldve gotten.. they look at A/C as true Gold.. - back when they got started it probably was.. but nowadays there are more and more busses coming out of serrvice with factory A/C.. and also plenty of people here on this forum that yank out those engine driven A/C's. so to me , if you want A/C, unless you get a great auction deal on a bus with it or have absolutely no idea how to install and commission an A/C, you should put out a pointer on the forum that you want an A/C system and wait for a member who is yanking them out and buy a whole system from them and put it in your bus.. heck for a couple grand you can even by all new A/C parts from the likes of ProAir LLC and put it in yourself brand new..
they asked me about working for them to add or repair A/C on busses stating that it was a Huge profit-snagger for them... (when I had my apartment down there).. I make a heck of a lot more money building and deploying VoIP than I wouldve doing Bus A/C.. lol

Ah I didn't notice they didn't have the price on the inner page.. That one is $7200 cash price because it has air conditioning! They have a few others without AC at $6800.

The short flat hose format seems to be pretty rare and is way more attractive to me than a long bus. My currebt bus is 22 ft stub nose and I could use a couple extra feet of floor!

7200 at BGA is actually a halfway low price for an A/C'd bus - makes me wonder if its a rust bucket or has something wrong with it.. normally A/C'd units are always well north of 10k on their site.

It's sad to say, but charging more for an AC bus during the winter is like trying to sell ice cubes to Eskimos.

I know a few folks who have gotten buses from them at lower prices but they were always priced low because of some mechanical issue they didn't want to solve before selling it. THe issues were fully disclosed and both people were able to fix them very inexpensively, but it seems that they just get out of their element with regards to repairs pretty quickly.
