Seal windows - Before or after paint?

Like the title states .. what would the proper order be?

Should I seal windows before or after painting bus?

I'm mid seal this morning, and I'm looking, and say to myself, self, this aluminum window is going to change colors when you paint it if the windows are left in.

So, I 2nd guessed further window sealant and decided to look here prior to jump frogging further ahead.

Thanks!

its up to you?
i personaly would pull the windows and re install/seal them properly before paint and mask the seal of from your finished paint along with the glass.
my thoughts and opinions??
after paint a window leaks, brakes, just quit working and you have to replace it and the paint was all the way to the glass then you have an oddball showing.
if you pull all the windows to paint and then install and seal and the paint doesnt stick or whatever after your pretty paint job and your window sealant?

I have my windows pulled. I will keep them out untill I am done welding, painting and spray foaming on the interior and painting the exterior. That said I have room for my bus to live in my shop untill I get the windows back in.

If indoor storage is not an option you may want to reseal a couple windows at a time and then mask them off when you get ready to paint.

Either way don’t use silicone.

B-100 worked for me. I’m pretty sure it holds paint. I guess I’ll find out for sure soon.[emoji14]

Peace
