Sealing Panels for Window Delete

Hi all, I would like to run something by you all on my current Gillig Phantom project. I am getting rid of the windows in favor of RV windows. I have the panels cut, 10' long by 42" tall, 16 gauge stainless. I plan to seal them then install with 3/16 closed end stainless rivets.

Sealer?!?! Just use 3m seam sealer on the structure, add panel, use rivets to squeeze out and fair that sealer then paint later?

Longer explanation: I plan to measure 100x, use masking tape and markers to lay out the fastener pattern. Pop 5 full size holes in the top and bottom of the panel, do the same on the bus, hoist heavy AF panel up and hold with wedgelocks (heavy duty cleco type fastener). Use fastener pattern to punch a bunch of pilots through skin and bus substructure (2" square tubing). Might do the skin pilots on the ground, then use the panel as a drill jig for the pilots in the bus. Remove skin, drill full size holes in skin and bus, deburr holes. Seal bus structure with 3m seam sealer hoist panel, temperarily hold in place with wedgelocks and start installing rivets wet.

Thoughts? Advice?

I appreciate the help!

James
