Short Bus Launch Boat?

I was texting a friend yesterday about daydreaming of getting a boat. He thought it was risky to attempt a boat launch using my short bus. I have a 5 window Thomas with a 6.6 liter duramax. I would be launching something around 20 feet, like a Whaler, or a panga.

Anyone have experience?

Thanks

Can you add a hitch to the front of your bus.
When you get to the ramp swap the trailer to the front so your rear wheels don't get into the skoosh traction areas...

Exactly banman It gets you in the water with your traction wheels high and dry with the added bound of seeing where your boat is going as you head down the ramp.
I would do a 20' boat with that bus any day.

How about putting a wheel on the trailer tongue and using a HF winch to set and retrieve the boat trailer.
