Short Bus Mileage

Hey everyone!

Can anyone give me the rough mileage they get out of a short bus? Say a 18-20 foot conversion?

My daughter and i plan to travel for a pretty good period of time and will be driving a lot. Wondering if anyone knows what size fuel tank a 2005-2006 blue bird with an international diesel engine would have in it? And a rough estimate on mileage you would get per tank.

Any help you can give is appreciated.

Stay well

My 12500 pound shortie with T444E is getting around 8mpg combined. My range is not great with a ~22 gallon fuel tank!

2005 E450 Cutaway. 21' long +/-

9.7mpg in town.

11.8 strictly Interstate driving @ 55-60mph.

IIRC I have a 45 gallon tank.

Range/tank: 400+ miles.

My little Green Bus is getting about 11.4 mpg- mixed use around town / some highway - during the remainder of my build.

I have no idea what I'm getting, but it seems to be pretty decent mileage for my 6 window shorty.
Neither of my internationals have a functional fuel gauge and I've not gotten around to fixing either.
