Shortest air braked skoolie youve seen?

Since i'm still half considering a possible tow dolly project (hauling an empty 5th wheel trailer probably just a 28.5ft pup length with a schoolbus) and the main requirement is having air brakes (and legal length limits of 75ft before needing special permits) i'm wondering what are the shorter busses that might have air brakes. I've seen some Class 7 33k GVWR ones that do, and I know some internationals have air brakes in lower classes but not often and i've no clue if it would be on school busses.

Has anyone seen a Class 4, 5 or 6 skoolie with air brakes?

Has anyone seen lengths of under 30ft with air brakes in a skoolie ever?

I can't recommend purchasing from this seller, but here's a short bluebird front engine with air brakes and 5.9L cummins turbo.

I've seen a lot of these "hand bus" busses for sale in virginia in the past 2 years. I think they're cute, and wish I had a reason to have one. It appears to be 8 rows, and I think is about 25 to 30 feet long.

hope this helps,

I agree, those are really cute.

I thought it'd make a sweet toad for going out to get groceries. Like having an oversized van.

I had even contemplated getting one and doing a quick and dirty conversion on it to tow behind 'unleashed', figuring I could leave the bigger bus in a campground or storage lot and do a weekend or even a week somewhere the larger bus wouldn't go. But, I don't think that is practical.

Still... I think one would be fun. If I ever give up a nomadic lifestyle for a chained lifestyle again down the road, I might have to buy one of those to be a work truck.

Oh wow that's adorable, I want to adopt it. :-O Though $5500 for 260k seems maybe a little high for what others talk of... what is that, about 24 feet by the looks of it? If I could get one of those that may well pull my semi dolly concept just fine. I wouldn't want to pull it fast (due to the aero load on the AT545) but I see no reason it couldn't handle the tare weight.

Half off topic, whats wrong with florida church bus? I had them bookmarked from past searches.
