Shortest Rear Engine Bus

Im curious what the shortest Rear Engine bus the community has seen in their search for a bus.

I have a 30ft FE but just wondering if there is or if others have seen a 30ft RE?

IIRC 35' is about as short as they come.

Looks like there might be some that are shorter.

I've never measured it but mine is supposed be 35 foot. It has 10 windows, with an emergency door on both sides. When I got it he had a 29 foot Bluebird FE sitting next to it. In addition to the FE, it had a wheelchair lift, which was also on my don't want list because I just didn't want to mess with one.

But looking at the 29 footer made me think that would be big enough for what I wanted to do, so I asked him if he ever came across any 29 foot Bluebird REs. As I remember that part of a fairly long conversation he basically said not often, and in his experience almost all 29 footers came with wheelchair lifts.

So I went with the 35 footer. And I am still glad I did.

Someone said someone else said they had a 31.5" bus. No pic or anything to back the claim. Pics or it doesn't exist.

I'm just curious. I think RE buses under 35 feet are pretty rare, and FEs of that length are much more common. So I'm curious to see if that's accurate.

I'm sure a short rear engine bus would have issue with it being a lever that will have the front bouncing alot., Weight balance on the steer wheels would be seriously effected.

Yes, I think there would be a point after which that unbalanced effect would just get steadily worse. I'm very curious to know where that point is, but I suspect it's not too much shorter than 35 feet.
