In general are shuttle buses faster than school buses?

Ugh...for real? A shuttle is light and "small" with say for arguement a 7.3diesel...now add about 5 to 18 thousand more pounds to it...so yeah shuttle buses are faster than school buses unless you put 3000hp under the bus...then all bets are off

But the 2 vehicles aren't in the same ball park when it comes to hauling itself around

It seems like shuttle buses are short ??? so I guess I should have asked is a shuttle bus faster than a small mini school bus?

I can put it this way to. Can you run on the motorway at 75-80 MPH in a diesel short school bus and a diesel shuttle bus?
