Side emergency door

Curious what others have done with their side emergency doors?
I have a 37’ flat nose, side emergency door in middle, and rear emergency door.
The side emergency door was removed before I purchased it to install new sheet metal when they removed the windows.
I’ve put it back on with new hinges, but it leaks no matter what I’ve done. Probably because of the way the drip flashing over the door is… which would be difficult to remedy as is,
So I’m considering fabricating a new insulated door instead … curious if any of you have done something similar? Would love to see pics.
