I’m doing a roof raise in a couple weeks. I have the measurements pretty well laid out, but I was wondering what size of steel I should get. I’d like it to be relatively close to the original.

18 or 20. Either will do. 18 will be a bit heavier, obviously.

I used 18 gauge 4x10 sheets of galvanized on mine. If I did I all over again I’d use the same thing.
