Solar System Sourcing

Not sure if this is the right place for this thread, so, moderators, please correct me if needed!

I’m looking for the best place to purchase a full solar power system (panels, inverter, battery bank components, the whole 9 yards) and keep getting lost when I look online for suppliers. Does anyone have a reputable source for supplying the system?

Also, I’m in Georgia

Thanks!

Check your local craigslist, there are a lot of small distributors selling good stuff for good prices by avoiding shipping... But be prepared to source your parts from multiple places as it's hard to beat Sam's Club for 6v batteries or Amazon for a quality charge controller and accessories.

I've been looking at altestore.com and comparing that to Amazon. It's about even once you factor in shipping costs at altestore vs. free shipping on Amazon.

I think it really depends on what you're after. What size of system are you hoping to get? Do you want a "package" that includes everything, just most components, or are looking to get the best bang for buck piecemeal? Whats your budget look like?

Check Renogy. Call them up and talk to their tech guys. They’ll design a package and send you a quote. And they ship free

Also check out Will Prowse on YouTube. The guy is very knowledgeable.

Here’s his website
