This may sound off topic, but for anyone that would like to buy some heavy duty metal shelving for their bus, the local Target in Hampton is moving and trying to get rid of a lot of their fixtures.
Here's just a few things in the post that looked useful for making a roof deck:
- 497 48"x48" Grid Decks [/*:m:maamm6rn]
- 78 Stock Room Shelving (24"x36"x144")[/*:m:maamm6rn]
- 180 Stock Room Shelving (24"x48"x144")[/*:m:maamm6rn]
- 72 Plastic Pallets[/*:m:maamm6rn]
Here's something that's always useful... especially to get to the roof:
- 10 Louisville AP5006-T Safety Step Ladder (6 Ft.)[/*:m:maamm6rn]
- 2 Louisville AP5008 Safety Step Ladder (8 Ft.)[/*:m:maamm6rn]
- 8 Louisville AP5010 Safety Step Ladder (10 Ft.)[/*:m:maamm6rn]
- 1 Louiseville 12' extension ladder[/*:m:maamm6rn]
And just miscellaneous stuff I'm sure folks could use somehow:
- 1 Trash Compactor (don't know how large this is, but might be good for boondocking)[/*:m:maamm6rn]
- 8 break tables (used for counter tops, shelves, vending?)[/*:m:maamm6rn]
- 2 refridgerators (non-commercial style in break room)[/*:m:maamm6rn]
- 3 microwaves (non-commercial style in break room)[/*:m:maamm6rn]
These shelves might work on top of the bus as decking?
