Re: Thin walls?

Glenn, I am a fan of 3/4 plywood walls, as well as face frames for cabinets. You may have to get creative to hide the L brackets. If you are lucky, most of the wall brackets will be hidden inside a cabinet.

I am looking forward to a trip to visit you soon. I will show you all the nooks and crannies in my bus.

Re: Thin walls?

If you put up the partition wall BEFORE you insulate/skin, then you can use a metal L extrusion to attach the plywood to the walls (attach to the wall then attach the plywood to the extrusion) and the insulation/skin will hide the extrusion. A little trim molding will hide the extrusion on the ceiling and floor.

Re: Thin walls?

I used 3/4" cabinet grade plywood for my partitions walls ($26 a sheet at Christmas time at my local Home Depot). I have one stud wall between the shower and kitchen. The 120 ac power panel, water lines, and vent stack are in that wall (one busy little wall). Otherwise, the partition walls (will) have some sort of closet on one side of them, so I'll hide any wires and and plumbing in the closet.
