Thinking about a Jump Seat...

This was my thought. Except I would screw a few pieces of wood together to make a drop in stairwell cover for the passenger's feet and all is well with the world. It could even have some carpet attached to it for bare footin comfort.

I've actually put this plan ON HOLD until next week because I might be doing something that alters my needs.. But i"m appreciating all the info everyone has been sharing!
