What do you run on steers opus?
I've got firestone steers with goodyear drives, but the drives are recaps so I can't really comment on them as far as traction/treadwear. All 6 tires were take offs so I got them for a deal so I can't really comment on price either.
Depending on the brand, and the number you buy, they will cost between 200-600 per tire.

Couple years ago I go Double Coin steers. Lots of people have them here and they have good reviews.
I like them, in spite of everyone yiping about buying Chinese tires. [yawn].

ok guys n gals check these out.
http://www.amazon.com/TIRES-11R22-5-...A341K7YSK9N5OH
what you think. the time for tire is here. now i have to decide between the hankooks and these. the amazon ones do well for skoolie??
with money i save i can have cp sensor, gp relay selinoid, scan gauge, and my new ipr valve and seals. i going to do those before the trip as well and could use the extra gas $$$

You get what you pay for. Unless you are willing to take a chance on something cheap, I'd suggest buying something that has a reputation that you feel comfortable with. Also, are you going to install these yourself after the Amazon drone drops them off? Suggest you talk to a couple of your local truck tire places and see what they can offer you. I do my own tire work and I wouldn't buy something like that from Amazon or anyone else.

Changing a tire by hand is a handy skill to have. It's bearable under normal conditions. In a gravel put far away, when I was a much younger man, I've changed as many as 27 tires in a day on dump truck. I don't recommend it.
I could maybe still do it in an emergency situation. I went the high confidence route and bought name brand tires. Yeah it was painful in the wallet, but this thing rolls silently on the highway now and will for a good number of years.
