Driving a bus is usually the cheapest way to transport.

Try this website https://www.uship.com/
You fill out the info and then carriers from all over the US will bid for your business. You can accept or decline any offer and there is no charge to use the service. Good luck.

Until you book the job, then they get you and the transporter.

Brokers are huge rip off and may or may not provide the agreed to service. I screwed around with several "national" agencies and finally gave up. Found a fully bonded & insured independent who beat the brokers prices by 40% and did everything right on time. Of course since mine was a shorty, it fit (barely) on a big trailer. A 40 footer is a different story.

Yea Brokers leave a lot to be desired, they book the load then put it out at 40 or 50%
Of what they were paid..and the little guy like myself is stuck with all the work..
I had rather set than use them.

Hi pengyou and welcome to the site. I would think that unless it is total junk you would be farther ahead to have someone get it running and then go drive it home. I think it would be risky to buy it sight unseen since there is fire damage. Whatever you decide good luck.

That was the first lesson that I learned when I bought a car across country. Got and paid for a quote from a company that was advertised on ebay and then waited over 2 months for my car to be shipped to me. Only to find out that less then half of what I paid actually went to the shipper, and the only reason he did it was because he had an empty spot on the trailer and it fit in his route. Needless to say I got the driver's card and use him or one of his buddies directly when I ship stuff, at a reasonable rate too.
Whatever you do, make sure the company you go with actually has trucks and will stick behind their ship date. Otherwise, you're paying money in the hopes that it gets shipped, in which it may never happen.

Where is this bus?
Where would you like it to go?
How long is this bus?
I'll be in Houston Texas tomorrow with an empty lowboy.
