Question Tropicool 100% silicone roof, how to tape off?

Painting sides and no big box tapes will stick to silicone roof.

Roof is 3 coats of Henry’s Tropicool so even frog tape© won’t stick to it.
Looking at this 3M Silicone bonding tape.
https://multimedia.3m.com/mws/media/...g-brochure.pdf

Anyone know anything about it?
Anyone able to read it?
The info presented looks like nonsense to me.
Is this even what i should be looking for?

Let me hear how you guys “taped off” or blocked off your silicone roofs for body painting, please?

Also thinking about using magnets, I have many strong ones for side-mounted hammocks and shade tarps and bows and we thought about maybe getting some
Magnetic tape and running a ridge along the river roofline holding up plastic but I doubt magnetic tape is strong enough or reliable enough for my hopes, while my strong magnets are round and I would require 50 of them to ensure no leaks onto roof/AC/Running lights/Fantastic vents.

Anyone know of a silicone tape that actually tapes and isn’t this 3M gobbledygook gook?

Thanks in advance! 🙏🏽

Update: using Henry’s tropicool 100% silicone out of a tube did not allow plastic to stick even when allowing it to cure

Looking at magnets.
The 3M tape is $150 for 36yds

Don’t want to buy it but need to know options if anyone has any?
Appreciate it

I don't think your paint will stick to the Henry's Tropi-Fool anyway. Maybe just paint the body without masking and peel off anything on the roof after it dries?

Man I was hoping to hear that
I guess I’ll just cut in edges on roofline and wait a day to stick tape to it to tape off roofline

If you're painting with a brush or roller, you could just use a paint shield: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Warner-23-i...ide/1000024761.

I wanted to spray everything but if I can’t bc I have to tape off to something to prevent roof overspray, I guess I’ll just cut in on roofline and after it cures I’ll tape to the cut in edges.

You don't need to mask. The paint won't stick. After your paint dries, just rub the area where the tropicool is and the paint will come off of there. If it is stubborn use paint thinner on your rag. Paint won't stick to it. This is what I did and it turned out great.
