Unlocking Transmission

With all the talk of what a PITA it is to get these trannys unlocked I thought this find was interesting. Any takers?

If you don’t have the CIN then this will not help.

these are sold on ebay all the time.. the issue is that. much of the software is old versions before online licensing wass used.. some of thre manufacturers requiire subscriptions..

ie Navistar gives away the servicemaxx but NavKal and DLB reuire subscriptions to use..

allison. DOC still requires a CIN to change the calibration on a stock TCM..

when I talk of "unleashing" my transmission I bought a TCM that is already tuneable.. im guessing allison would Not like to see my TCM or support it.. but I can calibrate all the settings...
mine is a 4th GEN TCM... most of the 3060s are 2nd or 3rd gen which I think can be purchased tuneable from aftermarket companies..

Just putting it out there, food for thought. Now if we could get the CIN code the other guy just got for his it might help. I'm pretty computer illiterate, i'm just guessing.
