Sorry guys, I had a really crazy week and weekend. I am located in the Puyallup area. I went to McChallum on Meridian.
I had talked to a friend at church and they told me that there was no inspection needed and they just went in with a stack of receipts and showed them that, they got the title changed same day.
So, even though I only had the bus a week and did not have it done, I wanted to save the $100 fee for going past the 15 days and I just told them it was an RV. They gave me no issues and did the swap.

Got my title changed to motorhome in Washington also. No problem. Went in and told the person that I wanted to title it as a motorhome, was asked "What color is it?" Told her yellow..."Are you going to change the color?"...yes to blue and gray...she titled it as a blue and gray motorhome no other questions asked.

Mine was a piece o cake too. Didn't even ask the color. Wa state doese not require a color change but I'm doing it anyways.
(white roof, tan body , leaving the black guardrails, leaving a little yellow to show it's heritage. )

This is quite pleasing to hear: I've been dreading the potential headache that could very well have come out of that trip. Glad to hear this screwy state is getting something right!

I just went in and changed the title after I bought my bus, since I wasn't going to be driving it for about six months the lady told me I didn't need to register it yet just apply to change title. Saved me a few bucks for now. "Cheep-Cheep"

Sounds good to me, it would be cool to have a converted Skoolie group camp out. I would love to see what others have done and maybe show off mine when its done too.
