Western New York Transmission Help?

Hi, everyone—

I have an ‘09 International with a DT466 and I was told when I bought it that there was an extra gear/way to recalibrate the transmission, but every time I ask an Allison dealer about it they don’t know what I’m talking about. Does anyone a) know of a place in Western New York (I’m in Buffalo) that can do this? And b) Can tell me exactly how to phrase this question. I’m not particularly mechanically-minded, as you can see.

Some buses, ones with the nicer and newer transmissions, have an overdrive that can be unlocked (my old clunker isn't one of them). Do you happen to know which transmission you have? If you post a pic of the shifter someone might be able to tell you. Some people have had luck getting their transmission unlocked, others not. There are threads on here about this topic, IIRC.
