What Do You Think of this Bus? Need Feedback

Here are the bus details:

*2004 Saf-T-Liner 9 window, 29 feet BtoB
*Cummins 5.9 205 HP, front engine
*Allison 2000 transmission
*Air ride
*Air brakes
*Air Seat
*2 air conditioners mounted left and right mid-length of the bus
*130K miles and currently used as a backup bus
*southwestern bus so NO rust
*5 hours drive so within a day of me

My driveway can accomodate 30 feet max so that is an issue when purchasing. Not looking to full-time but camping and couple week trips. I know the 5.9 is a little weak as a powertrain but this bus is midsize. Has anyone seen a Cummins 8.3 in a front engine midsize bus?

Patrick

Price seems right, that was about what I paid for my 9 window with 130K mi.

Sounds like a pretty good deal at 3k. If its not a rust bucket go get it.

Does not sound bad at all. And that 5.9 in a shorter bus (less than 40') should pull OK. And...you can turn that engine up to 250-275 without buying a single part as long as it is mechanical with an inline pump (Bosch "P" pump). Would also be good to know the axle gearing or what RPM's it turns at highway speed (65-70).
