what would you have done differently 2nd time round?

Did you do anything you later regretted or wished you had done differently when converting your bus? I'm keen to avoid any common mistakes! For example when doing my previous van I didn't put enough 12v wiring in.... and I didn't label all the cables...

Not really, maybe I would have gone with spray foam in the walls, but the way I did it turn out fine, I would have put bigger holding tanks in right at the start, instead of up grading later on, pre wire for solar panels, I think I'm pretty happy with my build.

Spray foam keeps coming up and that's the one place I would have changed something: I would have hired a professional! There is so much waste with the DIY kits. It seems easy enough at first, but getting the thickness uniform is very difficult and contractors have honed skills. It becomes very apparent when filling garbage bags of the excess..

oh, I also would have went with a lighter coloured interior. The stain I used look good while test staining outside in the sunlight, but it turned out to be too dark for the interior.

Living in the mints, def. A different transmission

On flat ground past say silver NC and east and then south and back up to silver area...it kicks but 4th gear with a couple heaters on and windows down...its fine, in the mints it sucks...need to upgrade
