Where do I look for an air filter?

Although thinking about it this might actually be washable. It's spongy. It's on bad shape regardless.

I tossed my cabin air filter out of my car a few years ago. Never thought about it again. But it's probably more important in this system than my little Scion.Click image for larger version

Are you looking for the engine air filter?
If so it behind the stairs on the passenger side somwhere underneath. Will be a large black cylindrical cannister. YOu remove the bottom plate to access the filter.

Yeah I mean I'm trying to find a replacement one for the heater.

But eventually I was going to ask for the other filter as well LOL. Now I might not have to ask thank you.

The filter for the rear heater in my bus disintegrated. foam sandwiched between two layers of mesh steel. HD did not have a size that would fit, but they do have universal "vent" filter material (white fibrous material). I cut it to the right size and covered the old filter's frame with it. Worked great for that rear heater.

however, the front dash heater's filter slides into place (find it behind a long-narrow cover above the front stairwell) and that is harder to fix.

perhaps I'll try stapling the new filter material to the old frame, but I still wonder if there will be clearance to re-insert it into its slot.

A new factory filter will likely need to be ordered from BlueBird
