Which schoolie would you pick for project?

New to the schoolie world. Just want to make sure I get into one at a decent price. So this one is on FB https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/788477819179216/ haven't seen it yet in real life but if it's that clean underneath and diesel is good what is fair market right now range? Also how hard are these things to find? This is perfect size for me cu can squeeze in driveway.

There is another 2 I found online but they seem much more tired at 4.5k not mileage wise only 160k but just amount of body rust and rot.any insights would be 😃👍

this reply may be a bit late....
my opinion, it's easier to repair/replace mechanical things than it is to repair rust.
as far as market value? That's tuff...I frequently watch Ebay auctions to get and idea of somethings value.
There are a couple shorties on Ebay now.
Good luck!

Depends on your skill set, I suppose, or what you're able to learn and do. I have no ability to repair the mechanical side of buses and I've paid out the wazoo for a new starter, HEUI pump and exhaust. Whereas with a cheap welder and some cheap scrap steel I was able to repair severe rust damage by myself for very little money (at least in comparison with what the mechanical stuff has cost me - over ten grand so far, not counting the original cost of the bus).
