Why remove interior tin/aluminum?

Hey everyone, it's my first post! 🥳 So go easy on me 😅 as this may be a silly question, but why does everyone take down their metal roof? Why not just adhere your finishing material right to it?

Also smell, acoustics, insulation, and the elimination of thermal bridging as much as possible.
Depends on what you're using it for. Hauling some kayaks and kids on the weekends and using it as a camper? eh- maybe leave em. I'm leaving mine up in my 5 window bus.
But I don't plan to live in it or travel extensively in it. Its in Florida so I'm going to blast the ac and rarely need to heat it.
