Windows for bus conversion
Hello Skoolie.net!
I am new to posting but have been lurking throughout the site for some time. Love all the great concepts and ideas presented here.
My partner and I are almost done stripping the ceiling panels. We already know what we are going to do for the ceiling installation, but are curious about planning out the windows.
Currently our bus resides in California. It can move but currently doesnt (we drove it from WA in October). It's a 1999 AmTran International flat nose bus. Once it is completed we plan to drive it to Vermont where it will reside for the foreseeable future as a stationary home.
The question is, could we use "normal" house windows or are we restricted to only using RV or bus windows? Would windows produced for a non-moving house be able to handle a 2-3 week (shaking?) journey throughout the United States of America as it made it's way from California to Vermont?
Also does anyone in NorCal-Sonoma have recommendations on a great bus mechanic!?
Thanks everyone, and look forward to people's thoughts!
