Windshield gasket/seal

Hi all -

Anyone replace their windshield gasket on a flat nose? My windshield started to fall in on me the other day, so I’m taking that as a subtle sign the gasket needs to be replaced. I’ve read how to do it on an old truck (still have a windshield to swap on the old Willys truck…) but nothing the size of these panes on the front end of the Blue Bird. I can get the seal from Blue Bird (for a bunch of money, of course!), but even if I did, is it something one could do at home with a rope and a bunch of soapy water? Or is it just too much to tackle in the yard? Anyone do this job (or one like it) and can offer advice?

Is it best to just get the gasket from Blue Bird rather than try to find something cheaper and risk a poor fit?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I’m running out of things to replace on this old bird…and running out of money even faster…

Thanks!
