Wood paneling for ceiling?

Greetings and Salutations follow enthusiasts!

Now that I've pulled the ceiling panels down, I'm evaluating products to determine what my new ceiling material will be, which of course will cover the newly installed insulation.

Has anyone used wood paneling sheets?

Something along these lines:

Lots of colors and styles to choose from. Inexpensive. Pliable enough to bend to the curvatures of the bus ceiling. So it seems!

Thoughts, ideas, suggestions, warnings?!

Thanks!

I used 3/16 plywood on my ceiling and it turned out OK. I put 1x2 furring strips up then screwed the plywood to it.

The plywood curved fine but the curve near the walls it pretty steep so I ripped the side pieces about 18" or so.

Lowe’s has 3 1/2” x 1/4” x 8’ spruce wainscoting. I bought it but haven’t installed it yet. I did a trial installation with a couple boards. Seems like it’s going to be good. It’s been used by others here.
