1950s Alluminum Bus in Richmond Virginia

Hello,

I was out buying brake hoses for the old GMC today and met a guy who has a 1950s alluminum bus. He says it runs, all the seats were removed, and it has been registered as an RV.

If anyone is interested pm me for his number. I don't know what these are worth but he said he wants $8500 for it.

is that an old GMC 'New Look' transit I think they called it?
alot of those had the old detroit 2 cycle in them I think.

Gosh Christopher i wish i had snapped more pictures and asked a few more questions. If anyone is interested i am headed that way tomorrow and may try to get some more information. Is that price high? Again i don't follow the older bus market, but i see a lot of nice bus here go for under 5k.
