1975 Jeep Ambulance (total project- not mine) on PS

It would be a total project. But man, what a cool lil old jeep. I'd snatch it up and have it towed home if it were within even several hundred miles, but alas- one of you lucky folks out west should save this lil guy!

That's a Kaiser M725.

Pretty rare truck.

They were Vietnam era. Those and the M715 (pickup version of the same vehicle) shared some sheet metal with the civilian Jeep Gladiator pickup trucks. The fenders were trimmed back with flares made out of 1/4" steel. That's pretty indicative of how stout those things were. Unlike the civilian trucks, they were 5/4 ton units.

My uncle is an old navy dude. Back when I was a kid he had an OLD jeep pickup with a flathead six. Drive it for decades.
My part-time ride in high school/college was a 76 jeep J10. Was a healthy truck with an amc 360, th400 tranny, and dana 60 front and rear. My stepdad bought it new in 76 and built his own 4x4 setup for it back in the day. It was stock height, but was hellaciously stout. Had Levi's interior and the word "Honcho" emblazoned on the sides of the truck. Those were great trucks!
I really wish I could get ahold of this ambulance. Can't believe its so cheap!

Mine looked JUST like this one-

I had a 76 Cherokee Chief.. loved that thing... had a 400 with a TH400 trans.. not sure what diffs it had.. I know it had "command-trac" or some crazy vacuum operated full time 4x4 that always wanted to freeze whjen you need it the most..

by god that truck had an ice cold air conditioner in the summer and a worthless heater in the winter..

Yeah, the quadritrac is what it was called, iirc. Why my stepdad did his own 4x4 with the stoutest stuff he could fit in there. Got rid of the factory carb and itake and went with a mild 4 barrel and a nice dual exhaust. He drove it from 1976 until the mid 90's. I think whoever owns it now is probably driving it around still.

Smile Jeep

I had a Willys Jeep, the last year before Jeep was sold to AMC. Been so long ago I can't remember what it was. ......1953 I think. .....had a lot of fun with that vehicle. Had the Hurricane flathead engine. At 70mph you thought it was flying apart. Had L-78 tires on stock rims. I think I blew all the stock rims out over several years. Loved that old station wagon. The heater didn't work overly well though.

Did someone say Station Wagon??

Here's mine. Heater's no problem in this one. It has a rare optional second heater core in the side wall behind the driver's seat. It'll roast you even when it's 15 degrees outside. Oh, and I put heated leather seats in it too.

And it has a Mercedes diesel under the hood. It'll cruise at 75 with no problem.
