1988 Bluebird for sale

Fully converted Bluebird skoolie, off grid equipped.

DT466 engine. MT643 transmission.
237,000 miles.
All new fluids and filters from the differential to the radiator.
All new tires September 2020: Michelin X Multi traction drivers
Toyo M170 z steering
We bought this bus in 2019. It was retired from Kettle Falls school district in Washington and has a DOT sticker in the window from 2017. My wife and I worked on the build during the summer of 2019 and 2020. It went into Harlows bus barn in Libby last fall for a new DOT inspection, and they replaced the brakes on the back. It is scheduled to go back into the shop in the middle of May to get new front brakes and a 2021 DOT sticker.

We left Montana on October 15 last fall, and spent over 6 months traveling around Louisiana,
Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. The bus performed perfectly. Never had a hiccup. It used 2 quarts of oil between oil change, at 5000 miles. It cruises down the highway at 55 mph and 2400 rpm. Slower when pulling a grade. If you want to go faster than 55, this is not the bus for you.

The conversion includes an apartment size propane stove and a 10.1 cubic foot electric (compressor) energy star refrigerator, 100 gallons fresh water and a Suburban 6 gallon water heater, with an outdoor shower. No grey water tank. If we are not hooked into a full hook-up, we put a 5 gallon bucket under the drain. No black water tank: it has a composting toilet. There is a small microwave installed.

The off grid equipment includes a MagnaSine 2000 watt inverter/charger, Two Battle Born 100amp hour lithium ion batteries, and a free standing 300 watt solar panel.

It comes with a 2018 Suzuki RV200 (VanVan) on the back bumper. The bike is like new, with 432 miles on it.

We are turning 70 this year, and figure our galavanting around the country in a school bus days are over, so it is up for sale.

I’m thinking $29,000. Or $26,000 without the motorcycle.

maybe overpriced

I am surprised there have been no comments or opinions. Maybe everyone is thinking, if you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all. So how about $22,000 without the VanVan. $25,000 with?
