1991 Blue Bird TC2000
Pictures and info can be seen at the link below. This is a very rare bus that came from the factory with no windows. For additional info or any questions, reply here, pm, or email to icsealey AT yahoo DOT com.

Re: 1991 Blue Bird TC2000
ttt, i'm ready to make someone a good deal on this. my new rig will be coming soon, and while i've got the room i'd rather not have two bohemoths sitting around.
i will deliver anywhere within 800 miles of raleigh, nc FREE OF CHARGE if my asking price is met. i will negotiate further delivery for the cost of my expenses only. if it's less than 800 miles or you pick it up, i'll be generous on the purchase price accordingly.

Re: 1991 Blue Bird TC2000
I think you are charging to much. The inside conversion is not built as well as most Skoolies I have seen. I would look into ebay if I were you. There you might be able to sell it for as much as you want. Hell I have seen buses from New Orleans buses go for over 10K even after being soaked in salt water for 10 days. As far as I can tell most of us on here are looking for lower priced and lower millage buses. It is cool to see a bus without windows though.
A month ago when I was looking at buses I actually looked at your add. I ended up finding a bus for $1600 with less than 200k on it. Much luck finding someone to pay over $3500.

Re: 1991 Blue Bird TC2000
The more I look at that damn bus, the more I want it. Trouble is, if I brought it home, I'd end up living in it as the OL would kill me.
Can I make one more suggestion?
Paint.
White paint, actually.
Black is a horrible color to work with. It looks nice if it is perfect and the sheetmetal it is on is perfect. Yours is not. You can see every little wrinkle in it because it is a glossy black color.
Throw a coat or two of white or some other non glossy light color and I think it would look alot better.

Re: 1991 Blue Bird TC2000
not that i really feel the need to justify/defend my bus, i'll play anyway...
dizzy: i'm glad you found a deal on your bus, but you can't really compare this one with a stock skoolie or a finished conversion. it falls somewhere in between. it also has two major selling points that are very rare and desireable for a skoolie to most people: no side windows and a taller ceiling. if you consider what it would take to do that plus all the other parts it has, you'd be spending quite a bit more than what i'm willing to sell it for. i'll be happy to strip the a/c, inverter, fridge, stereo, guages, etc. and take $3500 for it though.
pete: i'm not about to waste my time/money on painting something i'm trying to sell, or try to hide any blemishes with paint. it's a personal preference thing anyway. i love the all black look, despite the flaws it shows. i like that i can see every seam, rivet, etc... it only adds to the sinister look in my opinion. it also matches my trailer. if i was strictly using this as an RV, i might consider a "happier" color, but that wasn't my intent. if you want to buy it, you're welcome to paint it purple with pink flowers all over it for all i care.
anyway, back to the top for selling my bus and i'll leave you two to your $1600 skoolies with immaculate paint jobs.

Re: 1991 Blue Bird TC2000
any bites yet? as for your liking the black look, that's fine, if you were gonna keep it. But, you are selling it which means you want it to look good to as many folks as possible. As for the trouble of painting it. I would guess that your bus would be a very easy paint as it has very little that needs taping off. I guess it also means that it would take quite a few gallons to do it, but, I think the return on investment would be pretty good.
Good luck with it. I wish the hell I was in a position to buy a skoolie now, as I think yours is the perfect bus to do, but, unfortunately, I'm not, unless maybe you're interested in a toyota sunrader motorhome trade?
Nice little rig, but, a bit cozy for me and the family. For 1 or 2 people that can travel light, the toyota is an awesome rig. 16 mpg and you can go just about anyplace a regular sized car can.

Re: 1991 Blue Bird TC2000
i've had plenty of interest, but no takers yet.
it's just not worth my time/effort to paint it. i'd rather discount the price further to account for it if someone was really opposed to the black. most people like it though.
i might actually be interested in that trade. give me some pics, details, etc...

Your link doesn't work, do you have info & pics somewhere else? Or can you email them to me - bobbie2007@mac.com, I just might be interested. I am looking for a conversion bus.

Yeah, I heard someone paid $18,500.00 for one with an over-sized bubbling bathtub in it. . .can't remember where that was. . .
