1992 Bluebird AA - RE for sale

So after some pondering and discussions.... we've decided to sell the bus. It has pretty much come down to getting the itch to build something else. Not sure yet what that will be... heck it might even be another bus. I'd really like to see this bus stay in the Skoolie.net family.

So with that being said.... anyone want a turn key bus? Anyone want a great platform to build from? You could gut the bus and still have a great platform. As you can see in the previous pictures, the windows are removed, sheet metal installed, insulated and RV windows installed.

8.3 cummins RE
mt643
knobby/sipped tires
190k miles
10mpg at 55 mph
8mpg at 63mph

60 gal fuel tank
42gal black
100 gal gray
200 gal fresh

Almost all of the bus was built with Home Depot style materials.
Standard 3x3 shower pan
Standard deep, dual kitchen sink
Basic full size bathroom sink
Queen size bed platform
6' couch
Captains chairs from driver and passenger

Dual A/C - 13kbtu units. Only used 1 season.
Fantastic fan in the kitchen
Plenty of pantry storage
Under couch and bed storage
Overhead cabs throughout

Tile floor and counter top/backslash in bathroom
Tile counter tops and backslash in kitchen
Carpet throughout

Kitchen is setup with two chest freezers with one converted to a refrigerator. Counter tops are on a hinge and move like the chest freezer/fridge lids
We went with the chest style appliances due to their miserly electrical draw.

Wired for 12v and 30amp 120v
Roughly 600 amp hour deep cycle battery bank (Sams club t105) 4 years old, well taken care of with a watering system
45amp 4 stage smart charger
1000 watt PSW inverter
1500 watt MSW inverter

Tow hitch designed for dolly or 4 down towing.
Front rack for motorcycle

Dual 20# propane tank setup

I'm doing this all from memory and I'm sure I've missed some details so I'll add more as I remember it.

Feel free to ask any questions.

I'm open to offers and/or trades. Let me know what you have and lets see if we can make a deal.

Also I have a small 2003 Chevy Cavalier that I pull with the bus. I suppose that car can be bundled if someone wants the bus and car.

Asking: $6500.00 obo

Bus is in the Colorado Springs, CO area. Registered and Insured as an RV. Ready to hit the road.

PS, I will post some more pictures this evening.

Yup. Luckily she sips on the fuel.... at least when you figure we're moving our house around.

Sale pending....

Man it is tough to see her go. Secretly I was hoping nobody would be interested. Instead I've had an enormous amount of interest.

For that price, it looks like someone will be getting a real steal.

Bus has sold.

One chapter closes and another opens.... We're stoked to pass the rig onto Derek and his lovely girlfriend. They have some amazing adventures planned and it is just so cool that this bus is going to be put to some good use.

Enjoy it guys. Take care of her and she won't let you down!

Even though we're bus-less we'll still be lurking around. It's in our blood!!
