~1993 blue bird tc2000 handy bus~never was a skoolie~

Hello!

My name is Jeff.

I Had Previously Listed My Wonderful Blue Bird Handy Bus On Here, But The Potential Buyer Was Injured In An Accident & Wasn't Able To Complete The Transaction.

Up For Your Consideration Is An Excellent 1993 Blue Bird TC2000 40' Handy Bus.

~IT WAS NEVER A SCHOOL BUS.~

It was owned by a Non Profit Group in Nashville to take handicapped people to their Activity Center.

They purchased it in 1997 when it had 42K Actual Miles & it now has 128,310 Actual Miles.

It Would Be An Excellent Candidate For A Conversion Or Would Make An Awesome Toy Hauler.

It Was Specifically Designed To Transport Handicapped People, Hence The Name "Handy Bus".

It Has A Taller Ceiling Height Than A Regular Skoolie & is 77" Tall In The Center & 90.5" Wide From Wall To Wall.

It Has A Large Door On The Right/Front Side Where The Wheelchair Lift Used To Be & The Wheelchair Anchor Points Are Still On The Walls.

It Runs, Drives, Handles & Rides Excellent & EVERYTHING Works As It Should.

It Has A 5.9L Cummins Turbo Diesel With A 4-Speed Allison AT-545 Automatic Transmission That Shifts Flawlessly.

The Virgin Goodyear Radials Have 3/4" Of Tread Above The Indicator Or More & Are Regrooveable.

The Factory Tinted Windows Are ALL In Excellent Condition.

The 8-D Battery Was Replaced Last Year.

I've Spent 70+ Hours Hand Detailing The Exterior & Have Almost Finished Waxing It By Hand.

>>>It Is Located In Summertown, Tennessee 38483.<<<

~$8,500.00~

(The Tires Cost Half That.)

>>>DO NOT CONTACT ME UNLESS YOU HAVE THE CASH, A TRADE, OR HAVE TO ASK YOUR WIFE OR ANYBODY ELSE. <<<

>>IF YOU THINK THE PRICE IS TOO HIGH, THERE ARE PLENTY OF "SCHOOL" BUSES ON HERE THAT WOULD BE BETTER SUITED FOR YOU.<<

*Interesting Trades Will Be Considered, Such As, But Not Limited To The Following Vehicles:

Antique, Hot Rod, Vintage, Military, 6X6, 8X8, 4X4 Truck-(Preferably A 60's-70's Chevy Suburban Or K-5 Blazer/GMC Jimmy), Vintage Or Newer Travel Trailer Or RV-(Needing Remodeling/Work Would Be Ok, But Preferably Running/Operational.), House Boat, 4x4 Tractor Or Heavy Duty 2-Wheel Drive Tractor, Bobcat, Backhoe, Front End Loader, Dozer, Etc.

I Would Also Consider Some Logs To Build A Cabin, Lumber-(Preferably Saw Mill, But Nominal Would Be Ok.), Timbers, Portable Building, Shipping Container(s), Metal Building Kit, Log Cabin Kit, Or Other Building Materials.

**Any Trades Will Have To Be Delivered.**

***If It’s Still Listed, It’s Still Available.***

~I've Made A Deal With A Bus Nut Friend On Two 45' Motor Coaches & Do Not Want This Awesome Bird Just Sitting Around.~

THANKS FOR LOOKING & HAVE A NICE DAY!

Hey Jeff,

The folks that buy from listings on eBay, Craigslist or the Facebook Skoolie groups tend to be willing to spend top dollar for buses.

Most of the folks here have learned to find good values on buses. Your original asking price is high enough that some members may be reluctant to offer what they think is reasonable because it is unlikely that an offer of half your asking price would be accepted and you would probably be offended.

It is a very nice looking bus and being "not-yellow" adds some value.

Good luck with your sale.

Ditto on what Steve said.

I will add that it is a nice looker in red and white.

Well, I Acquired It Off Craigslist For $6.9K & The Tires Cost More Than Half That.

I've Been Restoring All Types Of Vehicles, Mainly Survivors, For Over 45 Years.

I Don't Do It For The Money, I Do It Because I Choose To Do It & Can.

I've Had At Least 15 Motor Coaches & Buses, Two Of Which Were Also A Blue Bird TC2000.

But They Were Ex-School Buses, Unlike This One, Which Never Was A School Bus.

I Don't Just Go By The Price Of A Vehicle, Especially Without Ever Seeing It. I "See" Them When I Buy Them.

I've Never Bought Any Of My Over $750,000.00+ Worth Of Vehicles, That I Acquired, Restored & Re-Homed, At Any Gov't Auction Or Other Similar Venues.

My Buses Aren't Abused, Beat, Worn, Sold At Scrap Prices Either.

This Bird Is In Extrodinary Condition & Is An Excellent Example Of A Survivor.

I Made A Deal With A Bus Nut Friend, For Two 45' Motor Coaches & Don't Want This Wonderful Bird Just Sitting Around.

But, I May Trade It In On My Friends One Owner Blue Bird Charter, That Was Never A Charter.

It Is A Magnificent Coach, A Pusher That Has A Series 60 Detroit, Air Ride, Central Heat/Air, Etc, Etc, Etc., With A GVWR Of 50K+ Pounds, With 160K Actual Miles. (GO BIG OR GO HOME.)

The Other Coach Is An Older Prevost LeMirage, That Has Been Languishing For 10+ Years, Waiting To Be Rescued...

The First Bus I Sold On Here Is Happily Being Lived In Full Time, By A Family With Two Young Children, That Escaped The Rat Race In Atlanta.

That Deal Was Fairly Complicated & I Did What I Had To Do To Make It Work For Them, To Help Them Out, Or Pay It Forward, As I've Done With Every One Of My Vehicles.

Not Once Was My Price Ever Mentioned Or Questioned By The Buyer Either.

When I Sell A Vehicle, It's A Fairly Simple Concept:

~You Either Want It Or You Don't,

You Can Either Afford It Or You Can't,

And There Is No In-Between~...

>>>Low Ballers Save Yourselves Some Grief, Don't Even Bother Trying.<<<

>>>>Looking For Scrap Price? Look Someplace Else.<<<<

***Serious Buyers, With Reasonable Cash Offers, Will Be Considered.***

(Make Me An Offer I Can't Refuse, Lol!)

***I Would Seriously Consider $6,250.00 CASH, Or As Close As You Can Get, In Non-Sequential Bills, In A Brown Paper Bag, Lol.***

~Thanks For Looking & Have A Nice Day.~

I don't think anyone here was picking on you or your bus. They were just offering honest advice.

I told you that it was a nice looking bus but may bring closer to your asking price if advertised on some other venues.

Congrats on the sale.

Congrats on the sale.
I mean was it the same bus on here a month ago for sale? He washed it like 12 times* and everybody gave him the same advice then.

*Hyperbole I know. But he spent a lot of time washing it.
