1995 International Truck Rolling Chassis or parts

Hello All,

I purchased this truck last year. It ran perfectly. T444 with a 9 speed manual transmission when coupled with this 2 speed rear axle. Has a flatbed with 3000K lift gate which works. I drove 65 MPH no problem. I bought it because it had a Crewcab which I used on another project. Truck has a 2 door daycab in the bed (from another truck I have that I switched the crewcab on to) with original dash.

All tires good/2 front/4 Rear/1 Spare

I am not trying to make a killing just trying to recoup some funds. I will sell all together or for parts.

Chris (775) 848-7591

Would be a good drivetrain combo for a school bus for those that prefer a manual transmission ( Shifts Easy)

Engine 125,000 miles on it

9 speed plus two speed rear? Or the main plus the rear is 9? which does not add up. What transmission is it?

Didn't Eaton make a 9-speed with a hi/lo rear gear?

Vehicle located South of Carson City Nevada

Well Transmission has Low and then an additional 1-4 forward gears for a total of 5 forward gears and a Hi/Lo so when you run it thru 1-4 in low you then engage Hi which allows you to run 5-8 in Hi.

The Hi/Lo function switches the 2 speed rear end in Hi/Low...

Yes. Eaton made I think 7/8/9/10/13/18 speeds....I have an Eaton 13 speed in the truck that I switched Crewcab on to.

Its a spicer 5 Speed...again with the 2 speed Rear you have a hi/lo range

So with Selector in low-you have low and 1-4 forward gears

When you select Hi you have 5-8

Hence 9 forward gear ratios

Shifter Knob says Eaton Fuller Roadranger Dir/OD Shift pattern LOW right down then standard H pattern 1-4 Direct

Then OD 5-8

When I drove it it shifted fine...Direct 1-4 then OD 5-8

Sorry my verbage may have been off

Ok Eaton 9 speed. Got it. I need something better then the spicer 5 speed I have. My old bus had a 5 speed plus two speed rear, that was nice.

Is there an id plate on the trans? if it is still there please post a picture. I have a Detroit 6v53. Currently has a 13" twin disc clutch 1.5" 10 spline shaft. Want to see if it would actually fit.

Where is this at? I am in Virginia.

Ronnie,

I listed I would sell for parts also but I think it would be stupid of me to pull the trans off the engine at this stage...the driveline is complete and works fine...I do want to try and sell that together -Engine/Trans and possible rear axle together
