Hi, It is July 7, 2018 and the bus is still available. Please make an offer or recommendations on how to get this bus sold.

What is the odometer reading? What condition are the tires in? Do you have maintenance history?

You're still $1k too high unless you find a sucker. I just paid $3500 for a 99 Genesis with all the bells and whistles. More than what I wanted to spend, but it was all I wanted.

Hi! Thanks for asking. The odometer reads 245,675. We haven't had to touch the tires since purchase last year, so they are holding air good. I think I did see a patch on the sidewall of one. I will get right back with some pictures of the tread. It was Fleet Owned and in commercial use by Aramark Corp., a huge multinational company which does, among other things, tourist and hospitality services until I purchased it last fall so it would have been professionally maintained. But the only records that came with it were drivers reports, which have no information of interest.

Tires

The front two tires look very good. The rear outboard tires have somewhat worn tread and the drives side one has a sidewall patch. The inboard rear tires look good. All are holding air. We have not added any air since purchase last fall and they still look fine. Feel free to ask any other questions.

Well, it does say make an offer and the market and the condition of older buses is a bit different out here in the wild west.

How much tread they have is not as important as how old they are. They may have new tread depth but be so old and hard they will start to disintegrate.

It's an Allison automatic 4 speed. If there is somewhere I can look on it to get more information, I would be glad to. Just let me know.

There will be a tag on the tranny identifying it. Almost every bus out there has an Allison transmission, many different models, some desirable, some not.

Where on the tranny? Can I get to it from the engine compartment or from underneath?

I don't know what bus you have so I can't tell you. Go to the UserCP and fill out your profile.

Mt643?

I am almost certain it must be the MT643 as Am Tran only used the AT545 and the MT643 in this line of buses. And the AT545 was only rated for up to 30,000 GVW and this bus is at 33,000 GVW. But I will try to confirm.
