1997 E350 7.3 Powerstroke $5K, negotiable

Engine is pretty much stock. I've rebuilt the turbo, other than that just basic maintenance. Recent front brake Overhaul completed at the Ford dealership.
New rotors, pads, calipers and brake fluid flush. Clean and adjusted the rears.

345,000 miles. That includes several trips to Key West Florida, Texas gulf coast area, and Colorado.

Great bus but the family needs are changing do its time to sell.

It has been wired for shore line, so I can run a small mobile a/c while parked. Also has a 3000w inverter. The doors have been wired to operate off of a key fob so you can open them as you walk up to the bus. 40A solar charge controller and 2 100W flexible panels on top. I was going to add 2 more to complete the project.

I still have all the original seats, and buckets of extras I have collected for it over the past couple of years

I put my wife and kids in it for cross country trips routinely. It’s old, it has its problems. I actually hate to get rid of it, but the family is changing. Call me, 817-637-3993 and I’ll give you the details.

I’m sorry, I was out riding. A phone call would’ve been easier at the time.

It has no rust that I know of. I have not torn into it far enough to find anything.

There are a few spots on the outside that need to be addressed. It’s only cosmetic. When I bought it, the corners of the bumper was pushed into the fiberglass of the body. See the included pictures.

This is a 7.3 power stroke diesel, and it runs like it! It will run 80 mph and not breathe heavy. I regularly pull my 19 foot boat with it.

It does have a few oil leaks, but what diesel doesn’t? I would consider this normal. It is due for a transmission service, and that would take care of the leaking pan gasket. The oil pan gasket is going to be a little more labor-intensive. Again, it’s not bad enough that I’ve worried about addressing it.

I put my wife and kids in it and drove it from Denver to Key West.

Right now the biggest problem it has is the AC will not switch from defrost to vents. This is a normal Ford issue. I would be glad to have this taken care of before somebody picked it up.

Last summer I took it to a shop that specializes in bus AC. They replaced the expansion valve and the condenser fans on the rear AC unit.

The cock around the swinging doors has shrunk and come loose. It needs to be recaulked. There is a crack just over the left side of the door. It’s been that way since I bought it and I just haven’t taken the time to figure out how to properly fix it. You can see that it’s got a piece of tape over it. Also, I removed the old caulk from the rain drip rail above the door and replaced it.

If it’s going to stay at my house, the only thing I’m really going to worry about is adding two more batteries in parallel and two more solar panels.

Also, the factory radio was replaced with a multi function unit. It is GPS Bluetooth video camera capable. It does have a back up camera wired in.
