Dt 466??

I could very well be wrong-- but that looks like a T444 engine to me....

I agree, and I'm pretty sure I can make out T444E on the side of the hood.

Given the high failure rate of instrument clusters in that chassis, I'm leery if it actually has 67k miles on it. But if it doesn't have any blowby I wouldn't be bothered by that.

Most definitely T444e. Those are solid engines though. Good for 300k miles. Like you said, if there's not any blowby then I would give much thought to the indicated mileage.

At that price, it's almost worth it just for the engine and trans. Too bad I don't need ANOTHER vehicle in the fleet.

Good luck!

I don't know how anyone mistakes a 444 for 466, ones a V8 and the other an IL6. I agree on the odometer change being very likely. If it was used as a bus for a route it would have closer to 240K.

Like other's have said, it's a t444e, not a dt466e. Also, verify what transmission it has, because if it's a t444e/at545, it's a pretty run of the mill low optioned bus. And if that's the case, then I'll be the devil's advocate and say it's not worth 4800 IMO.
