1997 Thomas built converted skoolie for sale

We are selling our fantastic Serendipity because we’re soon retiring to Portugal and she just can’t swim across the Atlantic with us.

We’ve lived in our bus for the past 3 years, working and volunteering in various state parks and campgrounds in the eastern U.S. We love this bus and can’t quite believe it’s time for a new era in our lives. We bought her partially/mostly converted from a couple in North Carolina. The bus originally came from Georgia. We’ve made several changes/renovations to her and have been quite pleased with the results, including bedroom reconfiguration, skylights, shower area, painting the entire outside, and A/C/heating unit installation. The bus has run well every time we’ve driven her, approximately 6,000 miles total in 4 years. Several diesel mechanics who have checked the bus for us over the years have declared it to be very, very clean, and able to run for thousands and thousands more miles. Currently registered as a motorhome in Wisconsin, located in Mount Pleasant (near Charleston), South Carolina.

Asking $32,900

Do you have any more details on oil pump? Did it fail?

Hi, we haven't heard yet on the oil pump- the bus starts and runs, but is conking out upon driving any distance and the mechanics have been over it with a fine toothed comb. They think IP valve or oil pump and we'll know soon.

Also on the oil pump, we just drove it without problem just yesterday, and have never had a problem running it until a day or two ago. The mechanics are excellent and think this bus is in great condition. We want to make sure it is in tip top shape for selling, but wanted to be transparent as well.

Price Change

Hi all,
We've decided we overpriced our bus in the beginning and are reducing the price to $39,900.
Just FYI

Is this bus still for sale? If so, has the engine/mechanical issue(s) been fixed/ cleared of all problems? Is price firm?
