1998 TC2000 25 foot ...

This is a 25 ft. Bumper to bumper Cummins powered, rarest of the rare (last inspect and certified in service March 2021)
Transit style Blue Burd in excellent condition.
Why am I selling?
I JUST purchased this Bus at AUCTION. And it was $11,400.00 out the door. The Bus is located in Roanoke Virginia and has 215,000 Actual miles.
As much as I love this bus the logistics of transporting and storing I would like to avoid.

Those who know, know where this bus market is right now. And as well those who know understand how rare and desired one of these 25 ft short transits in excellent condition is worth
In accordance with that and the worse case being I will have to keep it.
I WANT $20,000.00 for this sweet machine.
Some will call me crazy some may call me worse. We'll see. Thank You for looking.

Nicer? How about struggling for relevance?

As the Owner of a Thomas Minotour that was likely prudent.

And is there a link to that 25 ft TC2000?
Or are you trolling? Or maybe a dream you had. I did see one in Texas but it wasn't as nice as this and the ask was $19500.00.

I'm fine with all opinion. What I know is this is what it's worth TO ME to sell it.

If it's not worth that to anyone else? Then it won:t sell. Don't pretend you have happened upon a moment of genius because you have deduced the difference between my cost and announced expected sales price. Everybody's eyes wide open going in is a good thing. It's America. The marketplace will determine. And these are surprising times. Worse thing that can happen is I will have to endure the mutterings of the thoughtless:. And keep
this very rare and beautiful 25 footer and make it a rock Crawler.
And that's why no buses.sell off here?
They sell. ......

Not saying buses dont sell on here. Just not the best place to get a good deal, b/c ppl on here value there bus more than a random bus owner who has it just sitting around doing nothing with it.

Heres the one i was talkn about...

The one you found for 20k is at that dealership in alice, tx? That dude ask crazy prices, i think he is a scam artist with the prices he is asking. But theres a sucker born every minute, it just aint me. lol. (for the most part, cant win em all)

I think it’s a great looking bus and short enough to be very desirable for a build. Who’s to say with the incredible increase in Skoolie and van life being all the rage now and the buying frenzy created by covid panic this won’t sell fast. I actually appreciate the honesty about his cost and asking price, just because someone made a good deal are they obligated to give that saving to you? If I was looking for a quality platform for a conversion that thing looks pretty nice, if I already had it it would likely take more then $20 G’s to let it go.
Good luck with your sale.

Only thing? Not 25 feet. At a minimum it is 28 feet but more likely 30. So even your criticism as well as your comparison is off base. As suspected.

I appreciate that sentiment. It is an accurate one. These 25 footers are so difficult to find. Especially, directly from a maintenance program and recently certified: Which we both know has specific and strenuous standards. Thank you for your perspective.

Oh and for the guy that asked here's a picture if the Evel Rig

Well there is this one on this site for comparison. EVen this one is slightly overpriced. Yours is priced to keep.

Yes I do! A quality desired bus fresh out of service with known history is worth a lot more then the many pos crap auction with unknown pedigree deals we are seeing every new owner announcing their excitement about on this forum, and spending $6-7 g's to get them.
If he believes he got a quality bus for what he spent and either makes a profit or keeps a good bus then that's a good deal, please read the context of my entire statement not just two words. There are many people in today's market that would be happy to pay $11g's for that bus so maybe there's someone willing to pay $20? Last time I looked at a map you guys are in America, land of the free, that includes free enterprise I stand by my previous comment, if that bus was in my driveway it wouldn't be for sale.
Cheers

Number 1 that bus is sold. Number 2 it is a
TC 1000 and most importantly it is not 25 feet in length. Great little bus just not as robust as the TC2000.

If mine sells it sells. If not then not.
I threw it out here because there is a chance that someone may want one of these and been looking for one and desire
it more than me. And be willing to compliment that desire with purchasing power. It's that simple.

This is a 25 ft. TC2000. I know of one other one. It is for sale at $19.500.00.

Personally I'd love to see more of them for less. They're just not there.

Price has been lowered to $13500.00
Perhaps this will bring this exceedingly rare bus within the reach of someone that recognises the value.

FWIW I think it's pretty honorable to disclose the price you paid for it originally (if maybe not all that business-savvy). Can't be mad at a flipper if they tell you what the flip is. Good luck with the sale, it's a sweet bird.

Sweet bus. When I don't have 4 kids at home I will be hunting for that same thing, if they exist by then.
Good luck with the sale.

As I have found,by the time the kids are out there will be something twice as nice for same price. I started converting buses the thought of owning a diesel was way outta the realm. I firmly believe though all the dreaming is the best part of it all.
