2000 Blue Bird Mini Bird School Bus, Party Bus, RV, Play Bus, You Name It!
Up for sale today is a 2000 Blue Bird short school bus with a GMC chassis (engine). This bus was recently been taken out of service at a local school district near Brighton, MI. Since being removed from service the bus has been tuned-up, had an oil change, and has been completely modified into a “rumpus room!”
When the bus was tuned-up, a mechanic commented on the STRENGTH of this vehicle. It has just over 121,700 original miles! For a diesel engine on a school bus that is incredibly low. You will not be disappointed with your purchase. I have been driving this vehicle recreationally for the past year. It starts with ease, builds and maintains oil pressure, shifts smoothly, brakes smoothly, and runs dry – no leaks.
In order to best prepare the bus for carpeting I first installed a layer of foam padding to act as a “sealant.” On top of the padding is a layer of commercial grade gray carpeting (purchased brand new from Lowe’s Home Improvement).
This bus has no visible rust! It was professionally painted white and is sure to be a great recreational vehicle for you. It was stored this past winter in a heated storage barn. Professional decals with the words ‘Bus Wizard’ have been installed. These were created on the website
