2000 TC1000 Bluebird for Sale - AZ $7,000

2000 Bluebird School Bus TC1000
Engine: Cummins 5.9
Transmission: Allison
Mileage: 150K
Interior dimensions: 7.5 ft wide, 75” tall, 20 ft long (approx. 150 sq ft), 25’ from nose to end outside.

School bus ready to convert. We’ve removed seats, wheelchair lift and AC Units, it’s just waiting for you to personalize and hit the road. Serviced Deer Valley USD in the Phoenix area for 20 years, never driven in snow, rust free. Retired from service in the spring of 2020, with full maintenance records through Canyon State Bus Sales. Tinted windows and three exit doors, extremely clean inside and out, no wheel wells to work around. Changed oil and fuel filter.
We bought the bus with intentions of converting and buying land to develop for retirement, but during the search we found our forever home in the country.
Performed beautifully on multiple trips from Phoenix to Texas, no overheating or mechanical issues of any sort.

Did you remove the AC compressor from the engine? Do you still have the AC components? Thanks

Because anyone that buys your bus would probably want them. Roof tops will not cut it when your driving . So I am assuming you removed eveything Both engine compressors and both inside evaporators all the hoses and wiring and both condensers?

its sad the number of calls I get. (apparently people consider me some kind of A/C guy)..

"I replaced my factory bus A/C with 2 camper units and im sweating on the road.. each camper A/C says 400 sq ft so I used 2 i should be fine right?".. LOL ..worse thing is when i say "put back one of your factory systems..".. the response is "I threw then away... " or "will it hurt theyve been out in the rain and snow for a year?"..

had a guy ask me last summer for the units he gave me back.. and then got all bent out of shape when I told him id already repurposed one in my bus and the other set is in a friend's bus.. he literally wanted me to remove them and drive them back to him (6 hours away).. or "be the worst human ever"..

I try and encourage people to keep the A/C but it seems aetheticsa trumps function in everyone;'s Pinterest-Pinned brains

Well said Chris
It makes absolutely no sense to destroy a very costly purchase option and one that is so valuable in a non monetary sense.
Cheers

That advice you gave was followed here Christopher. I kept one and stored the removed one so I now have a complete spare system. I am hoping that since my 28 footer is being well insulated and I removed 6 windows that it will be enough. Plus the added bonus of no screaming little heating units. I mean children..
