2001 Carpenter International 3800 - T444E - mostly converted, for sale $13k OBO

Hi all,

Bus is in Central (upstate) New York.

I made a post last summer but we were not really ready to let the bus go. This summer we are motivated and I am asking 13k or best offer. I have over 30k sunk into this bus but we have started a new chapter of our lives as homeowners and this thing is just taking up driveway space.

So ... the bus: https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...oI?usp=sharing

35' long, ~38' long if you count the custom rear deck attached to the back. Painted green with elastometric paint on top. 1.2kW rooftop solar panels, 2 x Morningstar 60 amp MPPT charge controllers, 4 x Crown 420aH batteries (over 10kW), 12v panel for lights and such, 1500w Magnum modified sine inverter, 2kW Xantrex pure sine inverter, half ton mini split, full sized residential fridge, brand new and unused (I cooked spaghetti on it ONCE) Samsung oven and stove ($650 brand new), 30 gallon water tank, cast iron sink, custom bench/sleeper, Nature's Head composting toilet, custom dashboard, custom bluetooth dash display (ripped out dash cluster), queen sized sleeping platform, wooden floors, custom 300w LED light bar mounted above windshield, recently tuned up mechanically, yadda yadda yadda. Under 70k total miles. Tires are in good condition.

There are a ton of extras but the list goes on and on and on. I just never got around to finishing the conversion. This would be an excellent project for someone else to finish and sink a few thousand into to make their own. Structurally and electrically it is finished. Cosmetically it needs some work. Please be kind. I am highly, highly motivated to sell. Best offer takes it. Up for sale locally, I want this gone by the end of the month and will come down in price accordingly. No BS sale. I won't "finance" you, you can't pay as you go. Best offer cash takes this one.

My huge loss, your gain. GET IT OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY!

Thanks!
warewolff

It's a beautiful bus. What's up with the instrument cluster?

It kept cutting out on me as many of the old analog clusters do so I tore the whole thing out and bought a J1708 Bluetooth adapter that connects to a tablet. Digital dashboard. Way more effective, cooler looking, and it gives me all the data the cluster didn't. Here is the Bluetooth adapter that is installed: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V1QBNFI

Hello sir, is your bus an automatic?
Do you know what transmission is in it?
I'm super interested. Is it titled as an rv?

Manual, Spicer 5 speed. 4.44 gear ratio. Titled as a motorhome I think, transferable Vermont registration.

Has someone picked up the bus?

Would you mind sharing your final selling price?
