2001 Ford E350 7.3L Powerstroke Superduty Box truck Stealth Camper, 151k mi
Location: Marshall, VA 20115
Respectful offers considered, no trades, please DM me with any additional questions. Thank you for reading my listing.
2001 Ford E350 Superduty Box truck with stealth camper optimized for longevity and towing performance. I have invested a lot into maintenance and RV construction to make this an awesome tow rig combined with a stealth camper. With just barely over 150k miles this engine has a lot of life left in it, I wish I could keep it but with a growing family I need a bigger camping rig.
All Pictures
Features- Plain exterior for stealth no exterior indications that the box contains an RV
- 22’ 6” overall length, box is 14’ 6” long and 8’ wide
- Full tank of diesel fuel!!!
- Owned for 3 years, less than 2,000 miles total.
- Legendary 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel
- Good condition vinyl seats and rubber floors for easy cleaning
- Center console with storage and cup holders
- Storage between the seats and the RV box
- Heavy duty towing receiver
Maintenance- Rotella T6 full synthetic 5w-40 engine oil
- ATF filter and fluid change
- New shocks at all 4 corners
- Steering tie rod with both ends
- High performance cross-drilled brake rotors and performance pads at all 4 corners
- Passenger and Driver’s side king pins
- Full aluminum multi-core radiator
- Extended life coolant (ELC) good for 300k additional miles
- 2x new starting batteries with disconnects
Upgrades- Transmission cooler (OEM Ford Powerstroke 6.0L size)
- Extra large capacity transmission pan with passive cooling tubes
- Heavy duty hinges to supplement existing rollup-door hinges. Existing rusty hinges retained for cosmetic “stealth”
- Trailer brake controller with full connectivity
- 4” turbo back exhaust, with 5” tip
- Selectable engine tuning modes by DP tuner (stock, 60 hp, 80 hp, and high idle tunes). My usage was mostly towing so I used the stock mode but I have experience with the horsepower tunes in other vehicles and they are quite good if you aren’t towing.
- Gauges: Tachometer, Ammeter, Boost, Fuel Pressure, High Pressure Oil Pressure, Pyrometer (pre-turbo), Transmission Temperature, Oil Pressure, and Water Temperature.
- Radio w/Auxiliary input jack
Camper- Fully insulated box with brand new 3/8" plywood roof, ceiling, and walls.
- Drop ceiling provides a place for the rollup door.
- Cabinetry, benches, and table top made from high quality 1/2" birch plywood
- Dinette with backrest and seat storage
- Driving compartment passthrough
- High quality fasteners used throughout for structural components (not drywall screws)
- Sink with 12v fresh/grey water plumbing
- 12v ventilation fan with retractable cover
- AC cutout with press fit cover/panel
- 29DC deep cycle house battery provides 12V with breaker to fuse block and distribution panel plus 120V (via 800w inverter)
- 30A Shore power provides 4x 120V outlets (3 interior and 1 weather proof exterior) on 2 circuits with breaker box
- 3 way house battery charger (driving via alternator, solar trickle charger, or AC to DC charger for shore power
- Custom door with screen window, locks both inside and outside
- 2x exterior grab handles to make climbing up easy
- “Garage” area between the rollup door and the insulated box for dirty exterior storage
- RV box 75” in entry, 80” in dining/sleeping area
