2002 Unfinished Bluebird School Bus Conversion

Images and video tours available here

We made a sincere effort, and in spite of our lack of expertise and work ethic, I think that we made something semi-respectable that was sufficient for one brief trip last summer. However, we eventually had to call it quits at around 75% completion, and now it's rotting in our driveway, mocking us silently. We're looking for someone to take this off our hands, preferably someone who is technically proficient, ambitious, and interested in building off what we have started.

Asking Price: $16,000 or best offer

This is a 35', 2002 Bluebird school bus with a CAT engine and Allison transmission. We are located in southern NJ, but we can negotiate driving it to wherever. Contact us with any questions or offers.

500W Solar Panels, off-grid with Inverter. 200 Amps Lithium Ion Deep Cycle Batteries (Battle Born), 50 Amp converter for shore power

We stripped it down to the metal floors, checked for rust spots, covered in Rustoleum, 3/4" in. insulation, 3/4" in. plywood, Waterproof Vinyl flooring (Lifeproof)

12V/24V Wiring, Outlets in both AC and USB (can show step-by-step the electric/off-grid set up!)

2 Skylights (1 that opens), Tropi-cool roof coating, Adjustable Mounted DC-Powered TV, Door Overhead Light & Security Camera, 3 Glassbreak alarms

Cubic Mini Stove Cub and Flu, 70 Gallon Fresh Water Tank

Full-size mattress frame with storage underneath and in the stairs

2 sofas with storage space underneath

Bluetooth speakers mounted above driver and passenger seats

Water pump to sink and shower head (Composting toilet, foldable bathtub for indoor/outdoor use, portable hot water heater)
Note: The "shower" is unfinished and simply consists of an Eccotemp L5 portable outdoor tankless water heater (included) and a foldable bath tub; there is no drain or waste water tank.

Top-open chest freezer temperature-controlled to a fridge (less electricity use)
