Nice, but NYC? 18,000 hrs or more on the engine, I'd bet. See if there is a way to read engine runtime from the PCM. If over 10,000 hrs, timing chain should be replaced before it breaks. Price is a bit high regardless.

NYC is lots of idling hours with little mileage. I know, I've been there. Mileage goes out the window with the high idle time of peak city traffic, and peak NYC traffic averages about 0.5 mph. Meaning that 5000 miles likely means 10,000 hrs on the engine. Certain components don't care how many miles are traveled, they still quit after a certain amount of runtime. Divide 350,000 miles by 35 mph average and you get 10,000 hours. Divide 500,000 by 50 mph average and you get 10,000 hours. See where I'm going here? 10,000 hrs is roughly 350k-500k worth of revolutions on the internals, and certainly enough wear on a timing chain to be a problem waiting to happen.
